Guide :Music : Full-Size Keyboard
Water spillage on keyboard has modified some notes.
We have a Yamaha Gran Touch 2 piano, about 5 years old.
10 notes, from bottom, first B,C,D#,E,G,G#,B,C,D#,E do not give full resonance 'legato' when struck and held without pedal. They sound short 'staccato'. This problem disappears when the sustain pedal is depressed. All notes are then fully sustained.
Some water from a vase was spilled inside the hood at the treble end of the piano.
Can you identify this problem and indicate the solution please?
